(CSE\u00a0: QIMC) (OTCQB\u00a0: QIMCF) (FSE\u00a0: 7FJ) (\u201c\u00a0QIMC\u00a0\u201d ou la \u201c\u00a0Soci\u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0\u201d) est heureuse d\u2019annoncer les premiers r\u00e9sultats du forage\u00a03 (DDH-26-03) de son programme de forage au diamant 2026 sur le projet d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne naturel West Advocate, en Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse. Le forage a recoup\u00e9 plusieurs zones contr\u00f4l\u00e9es par la structure, dont un important syst\u00e8me de br\u00e8ches de faille, avec des concentrations \u00e9lev\u00e9es d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne d\u00e9tect\u00e9es dans ces intervalles. Ces r\u00e9sultats permettent \u00e0 la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de mieux comprendre le cadre structural qui renferme la min\u00e9ralisation d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne et appuient l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation \u00e9mergente d\u2019un syst\u00e8me lat\u00e9ralement continu sur l\u2019ensemble du projet. Le forage se poursuit, les principales zones structurales demeurant ouvertes en profondeur.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>POINTS SAILLANTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Le forage du trou 3 (DDH-26-03) a commenc\u00e9 le 21 avril 2026, le long du corridor Reid Line \/ Eatonville Road, \u00e0 environ 2,5 kilom\u00e8tres de la m\u00eame plateforme que les trous 1 et 2. Le forage se poursuit vers la profondeur totale pr\u00e9vue de 900 m\u00e8tres.<\/li>\n<li>Concentration maximale d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne dans l&#039;espace de t\u00eate de 3\u00a0916 ppmV enregistr\u00e9e \u00e0 26 m (sous r\u00e9serve des m\u00eames limitations d\u00e9crites pour les forages pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents, y compris les concentrations atmosph\u00e9riques et de dilution de l&#039;eau, communiqu\u00e9 de presse du 10 mars 2026 sur le facteur de dilution)<\/li>\n<li>Six mesures d\u00e9passant 1\u00a0000 ppmV \u00e0 faible profondeur (sous r\u00e9serve des m\u00eames limitations d\u00e9crites pour les forages pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents, y compris les concentrations de dilution atmosph\u00e9rique et d\u2019eau, communiqu\u00e9 de presse du 10 mars 2026 sur le facteur de dilution)<\/li>\n<li>Une zone de br\u00e8che de faille soutenue par une matrice de 21,5 m\u00e8tres a \u00e9t\u00e9 recoup\u00e9e \u00e0 229,3\u2013250,8 m\u00e8tres (longueur de la carotte), repr\u00e9sentant la caract\u00e9ristique structurale dominante du forage 3 \u00e0 ce jour, et est structurellement analogue aux couloirs de failles contenant de l&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne confirm\u00e9s dans les forages 1 et 2.<\/li>\n<li>Une deuxi\u00e8me zone de faille distincte a \u00e9t\u00e9 recoup\u00e9e \u00e0 260,14\u2013268,32 m\u00e8tres (longueur de carotte d&#039;environ 8 m).<\/li>\n<li>Une zone de stockwerk de quartz-carbonate \/ gr\u00e8s silicifi\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 recoup\u00e9e \u00e0 214,0\u2013217,8 m\u00e8tres.<\/li>\n<li>Ces intervalles confirment l&#039;architecture structurelle \u00e0 zones multiples et empil\u00e9es verticalement observ\u00e9e dans l&#039;ensemble du programme.<\/li>\n<li>Les mesures de gaz de l&#039;espace de t\u00eate, effectu\u00e9es en continu pendant le forage, indiquent que les concentrations d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne restent \u00e9lev\u00e9es dans les intervalles contr\u00f4l\u00e9s par la structure \u00e0 cet emplacement, ce qui confirme l&#039;hypoth\u00e8se d&#039;un syst\u00e8me lat\u00e9ralement continu. Ces mesures sont soumises aux m\u00eames limitations que celles rapport\u00e9es pour les forages 1 (DDH-26-01) et 2 (DDH-26-02), notamment en ce qui concerne les facteurs de dilution atmosph\u00e9rique et hydrique.<\/li>\n<li>L\u2019ensemble des r\u00e9sultats des forages DDH-26-01, DDH-26-02 et DDH-26-03 est interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 par la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 comme \u00e9tant coh\u00e9rent avec l\u2019existence d\u2019un syst\u00e8me d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne naturel \u00e0 structure contr\u00f4l\u00e9e dans la zone de West Advocate. Les travaux en cours visent \u00e0 optimiser l\u2019\u00e9chelle, la continuit\u00e9 et les m\u00e9canismes de contr\u00f4le de ce syst\u00e8me.<\/li>\n<li>Toutes les concentrations d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne rapport\u00e9es sont des mesures pr\u00e9liminaires de l&#039;espace de t\u00eate obtenues \u00e0 partir des retours d&#039;eau pendant le forage et sont sujettes \u00e0 dilution atmosph\u00e9rique.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Citation du PDG<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c Le forage DDH-26-03, situ\u00e9 \u00e0 environ 2,5 kilom\u00e8tres de la d\u00e9couverte initiale, conforte le mod\u00e8le g\u00e9ologique que nous d\u00e9veloppons \u00e0 West Advocate \u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 John Karagiannidis, pr\u00e9sident et chef de la direction de Qu\u00e9bec Mat\u00e9riaux Innovatifs Corp. \u201c Nous recoupons des architectures de failles comparables, notamment des zones de br\u00e8che et de gouge, et observons des concentrations \u00e9lev\u00e9es d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne dans des intervalles contr\u00f4l\u00e9s par la structure, concordant avec ceux identifi\u00e9s lors de forages ant\u00e9rieurs. Les r\u00e9sultats de trois forages, r\u00e9partis sur deux sites distincts, appuient l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation \u00e9mergente d\u2019un syst\u00e8me structural lat\u00e9ralement \u00e9tendu au sein de la zone de faille de Cobequid-Chedabucto. Les principales zones structurales identifi\u00e9es \u00e0 ce jour demeurent ouvertes en profondeur, et des forages sont en cours pour tester leur continuit\u00e9. \u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>ARRI\u00c8RE-PLAN : TROUS 1 ET 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le forage 1 (DDH-26-01), achev\u00e9 \u00e0 711 m\u00e8tres en mars 2026, a permis la d\u00e9couverte du gisement West Advocate. Il a recoup\u00e9 plusieurs zones structurales hydrog\u00e9n\u00e9es verticalement distinctes\u00a0: un corridor de faille de 40 m\u00e8tres entre 142 et 191 m\u00e8tres\u00a0; une seconde zone entre 313 et 330 m\u00e8tres\u00a0; un intervalle de 72 m\u00e8tres entre 354 et 426 m\u00e8tres\u00a0; et un syst\u00e8me hydrog\u00e9n\u00e9 persistant s\u2019\u00e9tendant d\u2019environ 505 m\u00e8tres jusqu\u2019au fond du forage, o\u00f9 les concentrations ont d\u00e9pass\u00e9 les limites de d\u00e9tection des instruments de terrain GA5000 de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9. La concentration de m\u00e9thane \u00e9tait constamment proche de z\u00e9ro dans tous les intervalles \u00e9chantillonn\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Le forage 2 (DDH-26-02), r\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de la m\u00eame plateforme que le forage 1 et orient\u00e9 nord-ouest, a \u00e9t\u00e9 interrompu \u00e0 environ 500 m\u00e8tres en raison des conditions saisonni\u00e8res du terrain. Il a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 une concentration maximale d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne dans l&#039;espace de t\u00eate de 8\u00a0249 ppmV \u00e0 434 m\u00e8tres de profondeur, soit environ 2,75 fois la concentration maximale enregistr\u00e9e dans le forage 1. Les concentrations d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne demeuraient \u00e9lev\u00e9es en fin de forage. Deux intervalles hydrog\u00e9n\u00e9s structurellement distincts ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9s entre 125 et 160 m\u00e8tres et entre 425 et 500 m\u00e8tres. L&#039;ensemble des donn\u00e9es g\u00e9ochimiques des gaz des forages 1 et 2 a \u00e9t\u00e9 examin\u00e9 ind\u00e9pendamment par le professeur Marc Richer-Lafl\u00e8che de l&#039;Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS), \u00e0 Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p><strong>INTERPR\u00c9TATION \u00c0 TROIS TROUS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le forage n\u00b0\u00a03 (DDH-26-03), actuellement en cours, est situ\u00e9 \u00e0 environ 2,5\u00a0kilom\u00e8tres du forage initial de d\u00e9couverte. Les mesures de gaz de l\u2019espace de t\u00eate effectu\u00e9es pendant le forage indiquent que les concentrations d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne demeurent \u00e9lev\u00e9es dans les intervalles contr\u00f4l\u00e9s par la structure \u00e0 ce nouvel emplacement, ce qui confirme l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation d\u2019un syst\u00e8me lat\u00e9ralement continu. Ces observations sont coh\u00e9rentes avec le mod\u00e8le d\u2019exploration R2G2\u2122 (G\u00e9ostructure de rift et de graben r\u00e9activ\u00e9s) de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9, qui cible la migration de l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne contr\u00f4l\u00e9e par la structure le long des syst\u00e8mes de failles r\u00e9activ\u00e9s. Ces mesures sont soumises aux m\u00eames limitations que celles d\u00e9crites pour les forages pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents, notamment en ce qui concerne les concentrations dues \u00e0 la dilution atmosph\u00e9rique et \u00e0 l\u2019eau. (Voir le communiqu\u00e9 de presse du 10\u00a0mars\u00a02026 concernant le facteur de dilution.)<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019ensemble des r\u00e9sultats des forages DDH-26-01, DDH-26-02 et DDH-26-03 est interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 par la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 comme \u00e9tant coh\u00e9rent avec l\u2019existence d\u2019un syst\u00e8me d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne naturel \u00e0 structure contr\u00f4l\u00e9e dans la zone de West Advocate. Les travaux en cours visent \u00e0 optimiser l\u2019\u00e9chelle, la continuit\u00e9 et les m\u00e9canismes de contr\u00f4le de ce syst\u00e8me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>COMMENTAIRE SCIENTIFIQUE DU PROFESSEUR MARC RICHER-LAFL\u00c8CHE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les 300 m sup\u00e9rieurs du forage <strong>DDH\u201126\u201103<\/strong> pr\u00e9sente une concentration m\u00e9diane en H\u2082 de 361 ppmV, soit environ le double de la valeur m\u00e9diane mesur\u00e9e dans DDH-26-01 (179 ppmV). Cette m\u00e9diane est comparable \u00e0 celle de <strong>DDH\u201126\u201102<\/strong> (375 ppmV), qui, comme <strong>DDH\u201126\u201103<\/strong>, est orient\u00e9e vers le nord. L&#039;ensemble de ces observations sugg\u00e8re un enrichissement progressif en hydrog\u00e8ne en direction des anomalies gravim\u00e9triques et magn\u00e9tiques situ\u00e9es au nord du secteur West Advocate. Comme dans les analyses d&#039;espace de t\u00eate de <strong>DDH\u201126\u201101<\/strong> et <strong>DDH\u201126\u201102<\/strong>, les 300 premiers m\u00e8tres de <strong>DDH\u201126\u201103<\/strong> Les concentrations de CO\u2082 sont n\u00e9gligeables (inf\u00e9rieures \u00e0 0,11 TP3T) et de CH\u2084 sont pratiquement inf\u00e9rieures au seuil de d\u00e9tection de l&#039;analyseur de gaz GA5000. Cette signature g\u00e9ochimique est caract\u00e9ristique de la r\u00e9gion de West Advocate et corrobore l&#039;hypoth\u00e8se d&#039;une source de production d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne non li\u00e9e aux hydrocarbures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Figure 1<\/strong> illustre les deux premiers intervalles anormaux riches en hydrog\u00e8ne identifi\u00e9s entre 0 et 300 m de profondeur dans <strong>DDH\u201126\u201103<\/strong>. Le premier intervalle correspond \u00e0 une zone de valeurs RQD relativement faibles et \u00e0 une perte de noyau importante associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une zone de faille affectant les siltites. Comme le montre la figure <strong>Figure 1<\/strong>, Cet intervalle riche en hydrog\u00e8ne est d\u00e9limit\u00e9 par un \u00e9pais ensemble d&#039;argilites \u00e0 faible perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9, recoup\u00e9 par plusieurs failles mineures. Malgr\u00e9 le degr\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9 de d\u00e9formation, la pr\u00e9sence de ces roches argileuses \u00e0 faible perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 explique l&#039;absence d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne entre 50 et 150 m de profondeur. Cette observation souligne l&#039;importance des contrastes de perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 dans le contr\u00f4le de la migration de l&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne au sein du syst\u00e8me structural de West Advocate.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"\\\"alignnone\" wp-image-83466\\\" src=\"\\\"https:><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Figure 1.<\/em><\/strong><em> Variation des concentrations en hydrog\u00e8ne gazeux dans l&#039;espace de t\u00eate (ppmV) et du RQD (%) des 300 premiers m\u00e8tres du trou <strong>DDH-26-03<\/strong> (Secteur de la ferme Reid).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>forage <strong>DDH\u201126\u201103<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour \u00e9valuer la continuit\u00e9 vers l&#039;est de la zone riche en hydrog\u00e8ne identifi\u00e9e le long de la route Eatonville dans le secteur de West Advocate. Situ\u00e9 \u00e0 2,5 km \u00e0 l&#039;est de <strong>DDH\u201126\u201101<\/strong> et <strong>DDH\u201126\u201102<\/strong>, Ce forage constitue un test crucial de l&#039;hypoth\u00e8se selon laquelle un syst\u00e8me d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne naturel s&#039;\u00e9tend sur plusieurs kilom\u00e8tres dans la r\u00e9gion. Le site de forage a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 choisi de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 recouper de fa\u00e7on optimale le prolongement amont projet\u00e9 d&#039;un corps magn\u00e9tique profond situ\u00e9 dans les hautes terres de Cobequid.<\/p>\n<p>La confirmation, dans <strong>DDH\u201126\u201103<\/strong>, appartenant au m\u00eame syst\u00e8me de failles responsable du transfert d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne vers le sous-sol, soutient le mod\u00e8le d&#039;exploration QIMC\u2013INRS, qui propose que ce syst\u00e8me structural-hydrog\u00e8ne se prolonge vers le nord-est en direction de la zone de Bennett Hill, situ\u00e9e \u00e0 environ 12 km de <strong>DDH\u201126\u201103<\/strong>. Le forage dans ce secteur est pr\u00e9vu pour mai-juin 2026 (<strong>DDH\u201126\u201104<\/strong> et <strong>DDH\u201126\u201105<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>TROU 3 (DDH-26-03) : APER\u00c7U G\u00c9OLOGIQUE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Principaux intervalles stratigraphiques et structuraux<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>3,0\u201349,7 m : <\/strong>Siltstone \u00e0 grain fin, faiblement br\u00e9chifi\u00e9, de couleur vert clair \u00e0 grise. Pr\u00e9sence de multiples zones de gouge de faille (coul\u00e9e de boue) d&#039;une \u00e9paisseur de 5 cm \u00e0 environ 1 m, avec des veinules de quartz-carbonate tortueuses, de la pyrite en faible quantit\u00e9 (&lt;1%) et des signes de r\u00e9activation de faille.<\/p>\n<p><strong>49,7\u201379,0 m : <\/strong>Argilite finement lamin\u00e9e, de couleur gris fonc\u00e9 \u00e0 noire. Multiples zones de failles ; zone de faille fortement br\u00e9chifi\u00e9e \u00e0 75,43\u201377,00 m avec veinage de quartz bris\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>79,0\u201397,6 m : <\/strong>Gr\u00e8s gris clair \u00e0 grain fin (90%) interstratifi\u00e9 avec de l&#039;argilite gris fonc\u00e9 (10%). Veines de quartz-carbonate recoupantes \u00e0 90,0\u201392,0 m (r\u00e9seau de veines de 5 mm \u00e0 15 cm).<\/p>\n<p><strong>97,6\u2013149,55 m : <\/strong>Argilite finement lamin\u00e9e, de couleur gris fonc\u00e9 \u00e0 noire (95%). Zone de faille de sept m\u00e8tres \u00e0 128,83\u2013135,80 m avec des fragments de quartz bris\u00e9s\u00a0; structures pliss\u00e9es \u00e0 109,70 m et 118,0\u2013118,35 m, confirmant une d\u00e9formation polyphas\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><strong>149,55\u2013175,6 m : <\/strong>Alternance de siltite et d&#039;argilite sombre ; zone de faille br\u00e9chique \u00e0 149,70\u2013150,05 m et multiples intervalles de gouge de faille.<\/p>\n<p><strong>175,6\u2013204,8 m : <\/strong>Siltstone gris vert clair (80%) \/ gr\u00e8s (20%). Stockwerk de veines de carbonate de quartz contorsionn\u00e9 \u00e0 196,7\u2013198,0 m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>204,8\u2013229,3 m : <\/strong>Siltstone \u00e0 grain fin vert clair (90%). Veines de quartz secondaires recoupantes (2\u20135 mm) \u00e0 262,0\u2013262,6 m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>268,32\u2013291,38 m : <\/strong>Siltstone gris-vert clair \u00e0 grain fin, faiblement br\u00e9chifi\u00e9, \u00e0 clivage peu d\u00e9velopp\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les mesures des gaz de l&#039;espace de t\u00eate indiquent que cet intervalle est associ\u00e9 \u00e0 des concentrations d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/strong>, ce qui est coh\u00e9rent avec les occurrences d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne contr\u00f4l\u00e9es par la structure observ\u00e9es dans les forages pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANCE : \u00c9CHELLE ET CONTINUIT\u00c9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Architecture structurelle confirm\u00e9e \u00e0 un nouvel emplacement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les forages 1 et 2 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de la m\u00eame plateforme de surface, le long du secteur d&#039;Eatonville Road, dans la zone de faille de CCFZ.
