Le forage cible des zones structurellement favorables \u00e0 l&#039;ouest de DDH-26-01 o\u00f9 des anomalies g\u00e9ophysiques, des lectures \u00e9lev\u00e9es d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne dans le sol et des concentrations \u00e9lev\u00e9es de radon et de thoron ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9es et divulgu\u00e9es publiquement dans nos pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents communiqu\u00e9s de presse.<\/p>\n<p>Le forage du puits DDH-26-02 se poursuit afin de cibler des zones structuralement favorables associ\u00e9es \u00e0 la migration de l&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne. <strong>dans le cadre du programme d&#039;exploration en cours de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>D\u00e9claration du PDG<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u00a0Le forage de notre premier puits \u00e0 West-Advocate constitue une \u00e9tape importante pour le projet et fournit des donn\u00e9es scientifiques pr\u00e9cieuses pour notre programme d&#039;exploration en cours. Alors que le forage du puits n\u00b0\u00a02 progresse, notre \u00e9quipe technique continue de recueillir des donn\u00e9es structurales, g\u00e9ochimiques et g\u00e9ologiques relatives aux zones hydrog\u00e9n\u00e9es, tout en faisant progresser les prochaines phases de forage sur l&#039;ensemble de la zone du projet.\u00a0\u201d<strong> John Karagiannidis, <\/strong>Pr\u00e9sident-directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de QIMC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pourquoi c&#039;est important \u2014 Projet d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne naturel West-Advocate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L&#039;ach\u00e8vement du forage 1 DDH-26-01 fournit de nouvelles donn\u00e9es scientifiques sur le sous-sol de la zone du projet West-Advocate au sein du <strong>Zone de faille de Cobequid\u2013Chedabucto<\/strong>, l&#039;un des corridors structuraux crustaux les plus importants de l&#039;est du Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats de forage et les observations scientifiques associ\u00e9es permettent de mieux comprendre <strong>architecture structurale et conditions g\u00e9ologiques<\/strong> Les ressources pr\u00e9sentes dans la zone du projet contribuent \u00e0 l&#039;exploration continue par la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des environnements g\u00e9ologiques \u00e0 la recherche de gisements naturels d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne et de leur accumulation. Le processus d&#039;exploration n&#039;utilise ni fracturation hydraulique ni stimulation de r\u00e9servoir.<\/p>\n<p>Ces r\u00e9sultats s&#039;inscrivent dans le cadre du programme plus vaste R2G2 de QIMC sur l&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne naturel propre, qui consiste \u00e0 forer des environnements g\u00e9ologiques associ\u00e9s \u00e0 des syst\u00e8mes de failles \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle dans l&#039;est du Canada.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Zone de faille Cobequid-Chedabucto \u2014 Pr Marc Richer-Lafl\u00e8che (INRS)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Le mod\u00e8le d&#039;exploration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les donn\u00e9es de forage d&#039;Advocate (Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse) sont utilis\u00e9es pour \u00e9valuer le cadre d&#039;exploration en fonction de <strong>Mod\u00e8le de g\u00e9ostructure de rift et de graben r\u00e9activ\u00e9 (R2G2\u2122)<\/strong>, sur lequel a travaill\u00e9 le professeur Richer-Lafl\u00e8che et l&#039;\u00e9quipe technique du QIMC, suite \u00e0 des travaux ant\u00e9rieurs men\u00e9s dans le <strong>R\u00e9gion du T\u00e9miscamingue au Qu\u00e9bec et en Ontario<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>En Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse, le mod\u00e8le prend en compte le contexte g\u00e9ologique de <strong>Zone de faille de Cobequid\u2013Chedabucto (CCFZ)<\/strong>, une limite tectonique majeure h\u00e9rit\u00e9e de la <strong>suture du terrain Avalon\u2013Meguma<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Cette g\u00e9ostructure s&#039;\u00e9tend sur plus de <strong>300 kilom\u00e8tres<\/strong> et enregistre une \u00e9volution tectonique polyphas\u00e9e au cours des temps g\u00e9ologiques.<\/p>\n<p>Comparaison avec le <strong>Bassin lorrain en France<\/strong> met en \u00e9vidence d&#039;importantes diff\u00e9rences structurelles. La CCFZ est fortement <strong>ax\u00e9 sur les d\u00e9fauts<\/strong>, concentrant la d\u00e9formation et le magmatisme le long d&#039;un \u00e9troit corridor de cisaillement \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9chelle de la cro\u00fbte, tandis que le bassin lorrain pr\u00e9sente une architecture extensive plus large.<\/p>\n<p>Les environnements ax\u00e9s sur les pannes, tels que le CCFZ, ont tendance \u00e0 g\u00e9n\u00e9rer <strong>conduits localis\u00e9s et voies de migration verticale<\/strong>, tandis que les environnements d&#039;extension \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9chelle du bassin favorisent une fracturation g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e et une production \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle d&#039;hydrocarbures et d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phases initiales de l&#039;\u00e9volution tectono-magmatique de la CCFZ<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le mod\u00e8le R2G2 s&#039;applique aux environnements g\u00e9ologiques qui pr\u00e9sentent \u00e0 la fois des syst\u00e8mes de failles majeurs et un volcanisme important associ\u00e9s \u00e0 une tectonique extensive.<\/p>\n<p>En contexte continental, un tel magmatisme refl\u00e8te <strong>fusion partielle du manteau terrestre<\/strong>, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement provoqu\u00e9e par une remont\u00e9e adiabatique du manteau.<\/p>\n<p>Ces processus peuvent permettre l&#039;incorporation de roches du manteau dans les zones de failles. Les roches ultramafiques telles que <strong>harzburgites et lherzolites<\/strong>, riches en olivine, contiennent des min\u00e9raux ferreux connus dans les contextes g\u00e9ologiques pour \u00eatre capables de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer de l&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne par des r\u00e9actions de serpentinisation.<\/p>\n<p>Des indices de ces processus profonds peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9duits du volcanisme de surface. Dans la r\u00e9gion d&#039;Advocate\u2013Parrsboro, des roches volcaniques associ\u00e9es \u00e0 <strong>Rift du Carbonif\u00e8re inf\u00e9rieur<\/strong> appartiennent \u00e0 <strong>Groupe du lac Fountain<\/strong>, qui comprend des basaltes thol\u00e9iitiques continentaux et des rhyolites de haute temp\u00e9rature.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phases tardives de l&#039;\u00e9volution tectono-magmatique de la CCFZ<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La zone de faille de Cobequid\u2013Chedabucto a connu <strong>deux phases magmatiques majeures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Le premier s&#039;est produit environ <strong>il y a 355 millions d&#039;ann\u00e9es<\/strong> durant la d\u00e9formation transtensionnelle du Carbonif\u00e8re inf\u00e9rieur.<\/p>\n<p>Un deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9v\u00e9nement magmatique s&#039;est produit au cours du <strong>Jurassique inf\u00e9rieur (il y a environ 201 \u00e0 202 millions d&#039;ann\u00e9es)<\/strong> et est repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par le <strong>Formation basaltique de North Mountain<\/strong>, une partie de <strong>Province magmatique de l&#039;Atlantique central (CAMP)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Des \u00e9tudes g\u00e9ologiques r\u00e9gionales indiquent que des roches ultramafiques d\u00e9riv\u00e9es du manteau peuvent se trouver en profondeur le long de certaines portions de la zone de faille de Cobequid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dynamique de l&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le mod\u00e8le R2G2\u2122 prend \u00e9galement en compte la pr\u00e9sence de <strong>volumes de roche fortement fractur\u00e9s capables de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer une porosit\u00e9 et une perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 de fracture importantes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ces conditions favorisent la circulation profonde des eaux souterraines et peuvent faciliter la migration ascendante des gaz produits par des r\u00e9actions impliquant des min\u00e9raux contenant du fer, tels que\u2026 <strong>olivine, pyrox\u00e8ne, biotite et magn\u00e9tite<\/strong>, ou par des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s radiolytiques.<\/p>\n<p>Le contexte g\u00e9ologique de la r\u00e9gion de Cumberland est \u00e9galement influenc\u00e9 par un <strong>gradient g\u00e9othermique \u00e9lev\u00e9<\/strong>, ce qui peut amplifier les r\u00e9actions chimiques au sein de la cro\u00fbte.<\/p>\n<p><strong>De l&#039;\u00e9chelle continentale \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9chelle de forage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les grands syst\u00e8mes de d\u00e9fauts de cl\u00e9 tels que les <strong>CCFZ<\/strong> elles s&#039;\u00e9tendent profond\u00e9ment dans la cro\u00fbte et peuvent p\u00e9n\u00e9trer dans le manteau sup\u00e9rieur.<\/p>\n<p>Les syst\u00e8mes de d\u00e9crochement se d\u00e9veloppent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement <strong>structures florales, cisailles Riedel, bassins d\u00e9tachables et zones de dommages \u00e9tendues<\/strong>, g\u00e9n\u00e9rant une porosit\u00e9 et une perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 de fracture qui peuvent faciliter la migration des fluides.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Observations structurales du forage DDH-26-01<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Noyau r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9 de <strong>DDH-26-01<\/strong> r\u00e9v\u00e8le un grand volume de siltites grises fortement d\u00e9form\u00e9es, caract\u00e9ris\u00e9es par d&#039;abondantes textures cataclastiques et de nombreuses surfaces de failles.<\/p>\n<p>Les variations de pendage au sein de ces structures fragiles, ainsi qu&#039;une <strong>zone de faille inverse entre 142 m et 198 m<\/strong>, indiquent un r\u00e9gime tectonique transpressif associ\u00e9 \u00e0 des failles d\u00e9crochantes le long de <strong>Zone de faille de Cobequid\u2013Chedabucto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>De tels environnements de d\u00e9formation favorisent le d\u00e9veloppement de <strong>cataclasites, microbr\u00e8ches, zones de gouge et fracturation g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e<\/strong>, am\u00e9liorant la porosit\u00e9 et la perm\u00e9abilit\u00e9 des fractures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cadre structurel du secteur des avocats<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dans ce contexte g\u00e9ologique, les anomalies d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne observ\u00e9es dans DDH-26-01 pourraient refl\u00e9ter <strong>migration verticale \u00e0 travers des r\u00e9seaux de failles de longue dur\u00e9e<\/strong>, avec une accumulation possible au sein des compartiments structuraux de la couverture carbonif\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Les configurations structurelles d\u00e9crites dans la zone Advocate comprennent\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compartiments li\u00e9s aux chevauchements au sein des gr\u00e8s et des schistes carbonif\u00e8res<br \/>\n\u2022 Anticlinaux de la paroi sup\u00e9rieure et structures duplex<br \/>\n\u2022 failles extensives r\u00e9activ\u00e9es en sens inverse formant des fermetures structurales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ces caract\u00e9ristiques d\u00e9finissent un <strong>contexte g\u00e9ologique structurellement complexe au sein du secteur de l&#039;avocat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Octroi d&#039;options d&#039;achat d&#039;actions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 annonce \u00e9galement qu&#039;elle a accord\u00e9 <strong>5 400 000
