Ces autorisations garantissent les droits sur deux cantons du comt\u00e9 de Saint-Louis, au sein de la cha\u00eene de fer de Mesabi, couvrant environ 186 km\u00b2 de terrain \u00e0 fort potentiel. Elles constituent un ajout significatif au portefeuille d&#039;exploration d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne naturel de QIMC et une position cr\u00e9atrice de valeur importante dans un corridor g\u00e9ologiquement favorable.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Les m\u00e9thodes et technologies d&#039;exploration de QIMC ont permis de d\u00e9couvrir avec succ\u00e8s d&#039;importants gisements d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne naturel dans plusieurs territoires (Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse, Ontario et Qu\u00e9bec), d\u00e9montrant ainsi l&#039;efficacit\u00e9 de son approche g\u00e9ophysique et g\u00e9ochimique int\u00e9gr\u00e9e et novatrice ax\u00e9e sur les failles. De plus, lors de ce processus, la min\u00e9ralogie des mat\u00e9riaux ferreux, le gradient g\u00e9othermique, l&#039;intensit\u00e9 de la d\u00e9formation des roches, la dynamique des eaux souterraines et la pr\u00e9sence de failles r\u00e9activ\u00e9es constituent autant de crit\u00e8res de recherche d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne \u201d, poursuit le professeur Richer-Lafleche.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLe nord du territoire du Minnesota pr\u00e9sente une grande richesse en contextes g\u00e9ologiques favorables \u00e0 l&#039;exploration de l&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne naturel. Par exemple, la r\u00e9gion est reconnue depuis plus d&#039;un si\u00e8cle pour ses ressources en fer et en mangan\u00e8se, principalement issues de l&#039;exploitation de formations de fer pr\u00e9cambriennes de type BIF (Sims et al., 1987). Ces formations contiennent de la magn\u00e9tite et des silicates riches en fer, tels que la minn\u00e9sota\u00efte, min\u00e9raux recherch\u00e9s pour la production d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne (Geymond et al., 2022). Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une cin\u00e9tique de r\u00e9action favorable \u00e0 la production d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne et \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures plus basses que pour l&#039;olivine (serpentinisation), la production d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne \u00e0 partir de la magn\u00e9tite peut \u00eatre initi\u00e9e dans des conditions de pression et de temp\u00e9rature plus faibles, et donc dans des contextes g\u00e9ologiques moins profonds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201d Les permis d\u2019exploration d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne, dans le comt\u00e9 de Saint-Louis, sont situ\u00e9s dans des terrains prot\u00e9rozo\u00efques faill\u00e9s et pliss\u00e9s de la cha\u00eene de fer de Mesabi (riche en formation de fer) et localement en bordure du contact avec le complexe intrusif de Duluth, qui fait partie du syst\u00e8me de rift du Mid Continent (Fig. 1) \u00bb, observe le professeur Richer-Lafleche.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img class=\"\\\"alignnone\" size-full wp-image-82566\\\" src=\"\\\"https:><\/p>\n<p>Figure 1.
