Suite \u00e0 ces r\u00e9sultats, QMET a vers\u00e9 un premier acompte \u00e0 QIMC dans le cadre de ce programme d&#039;exploration de phase 2, d&#039;un montant de 1 TP4 200 000 $, men\u00e9 par QIMC en partenariat avec l&#039;Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS).<br \/>\nLa phase 2, dont le d\u00e9but est pr\u00e9vu en juillet prochain, comprendra un vaste programme d&#039;\u00e9chantillonnage des gaz du sol. Plus de 1\u00a0000 \u00e9chantillons seront pr\u00e9lev\u00e9s strat\u00e9giquement \u00e0 intervalles de 50 \u00e0 100 m\u00e8tres le long de zones de failles cl\u00e9s et de structures g\u00e9ologiques prometteuses identifi\u00e9es dans le bassin de Cumberland. Ce programme vise sp\u00e9cifiquement \u00e0 d\u00e9tecter l&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne (H\u2082), le m\u00e9thane (CH\u2084), le dioxyde de carbone (CO\u2082) et le sulfure d&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne (H\u2082S), et sera compl\u00e9t\u00e9 par des mesures radiom\u00e9triques gamma mobiles d\u00e9taill\u00e9es. Des experts de l&#039;INRS proc\u00e9deront \u00e0 l&#039;interpr\u00e9tation des donn\u00e9es en temps r\u00e9el, permettant ainsi une identification et un ciblage efficaces des zones \u00e0 haute teneur en hydrog\u00e8ne en vue d&#039;explorations et d&#039;investigations g\u00e9ophysiques approfondies. De plus, des membres de la Premi\u00e8re Nation de T\u00e9miscamingue participeront activement \u00e0 cette initiative, s&#039;appuyant sur leur importante contribution au projet de Saint-Bruno-de-Guigues au Qu\u00e9bec, men\u00e9 en collaboration avec le QIMC.<br \/>\nLa r\u00e9cente campagne de reconnaissance a permis d&#039;\u00e9valuer le potentiel d&#039;identification des principales zones de failles gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&#039;analyse de la topographie de surface et d&#039;autres indicateurs g\u00e9ologiques.
