(CSE : QIMC) (FSE : 7FJ) (\u201d QI Materials \u201d, \u201d QIMC \u201d ou la \u201d Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u201d), Quebec Innovative Materials, en partenariat avec l\u2019Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS), est fi\u00e8re d\u2019annoncer que ses r\u00e9cents travaux d\u2019exploration ont permis d\u2019\u00e9tendre la d\u00e9couverte d\u2019importantes concentrations anormales d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne naturel dans le sol aux lignes 4 et 5, ce qui constitue une \u00e9tape importante qui appuie le programme du Qu\u00e9bec en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9nergie propre et ses objectifs de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de carbone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201d Cette extension significative de notre d\u00e9couverte \u00e0 9 km au sud de la ligne 1, combin\u00e9e aux vastes zones pr\u00e9sentant des anomalies marqu\u00e9es dans les \u00e9chantillons de sol, confirme cette observation. \u00bb\u00a0<b>d\u00e9passant 300 ppm\u00a0<\/b>\u2019\u00a0La ligne 5 met en \u00e9vidence le potentiel d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne naturel \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle du district du projet Ville Marie. Ce d\u00e9veloppement joue un r\u00f4le crucial dans la transition du Qu\u00e9bec vers un avenir \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique plus durable et renouvelable\u00a0\u201d, commente John Karagiannidis, PDG de QIMC.<\/p>\n<p>Suite aux lev\u00e9s r\u00e9alis\u00e9s sur les lignes 1 \u00e0 3, le QIMC et l&#039;INRS ont poursuivi les prospections de gaz du sol au sud de la ville de Saint-Bruno-de-Guigues afin de v\u00e9rifier l&#039;\u00e9tendue des zones ou domaines pr\u00e9sentant des anomalies en hydrog\u00e8ne. Les nouvelles lignes 4 et 5 sont situ\u00e9es respectivement \u00e0 6,9 et 9,2 km au sud de la ligne 1 (figure 1). Nous sommes d\u00e9termin\u00e9s \u00e0 faire progresser cette d\u00e9couverte majeure et \u00e0 soutenir la transition de la province vers une \u00e9conomie sobre en carbone. \u2019<\/p>\n<p>Marc Richer-Lafl\u00e8che commente\u00a0: \u201d\u00a0En comparant la distribution m\u00e9diane des valeurs pour chaque ligne, la figure\u00a03 montre une diminution progressive des valeurs m\u00e9dianes des lignes\u00a03\u00a0Ouest et\u00a03\u00a0Est jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la ligne\u00a04. La m\u00e9diane nettement plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e observ\u00e9e sur la ligne\u00a05 est frappante et indique la pr\u00e9sence possible d\u2019une nouvelle zone d\u2019anomalie d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne situ\u00e9e au sud de la limite de la zone \u00e9tudi\u00e9e. La distribution spatiale des anomalies d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne sur plus de 9\u00a0km (axe nord-sud) est particuli\u00e8rement remarquable. Par analogie avec les syst\u00e8mes g\u00e9ologiques riches en hydrocarbures, il semble qu\u2019une unit\u00e9 g\u00e9ologique du graben de Temiskaming contr\u00f4le la production locale d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne. Nous sommes particuli\u00e8rement enthousiastes \u00e0 l&#039;id\u00e9e de la ligne d&#039;\u00e9chantillonnage de sol nord-sud de 9 kilom\u00e8tres, qui rejoindra les cinq lignes est-ouest existantes \u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 John Karagiannidis, PDG de QIMC. \u201d L&#039;\u00e9quipe de l&#039;INRS pr\u00e9l\u00e8vera des \u00e9chantillons de sol tous les 50 m\u00e8tres le long de cette ligne cruciale et a d\u00e9j\u00e0 commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 installer des rep\u00e8res. Cette \u00e9tape essentielle nous permettra d&#039;obtenir une repr\u00e9sentation 2D de la distribution de l&#039;hydrog\u00e8ne dans la zone de 7 kilom\u00e8tres sur 9 kilom\u00e8tres de notre projet Ville Marie, d&#039;une superficie de 250 kilom\u00e8tres carr\u00e9s \u201d, a-t-il ajout\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00c0 propos de l\u2019INRS et du Pr Marc Richer-LaFl\u00e8che, P.Geo.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) est un institut de recherche et de formation de haut niveau. L\u2019\u00e9quipe du Pr Richer-LaFl\u00e8che poss\u00e8de une expertise g\u00e9ologique, g\u00e9ochimique et g\u00e9ophysique, notamment dans les r\u00e9gions des concessions r\u00e9cemment acquises par QIMC. Elle a men\u00e9 plus de six ann\u00e9es de travaux g\u00e9ophysiques et g\u00e9ochimiques et r\u00e9alis\u00e9 des milliers d\u2019analyses de gaz du sol (C1-C4).<\/p>\n<p>M. Richer-LaFl\u00e8che d\u00e9tient \u00e9galement une subvention du FRQNT, en partenariat avec le R\u00e9seau des mines et de la g\u00e9ologie du Qu\u00e9bec et l\u2019industrie mini\u00e8re, pour d\u00e9velopper et optimiser une m\u00e9thode d\u2019analyse des gaz du sol permettant la d\u00e9tection directe des corps min\u00e9ralis\u00e9s et des failles sous la couverture quaternaire. Outre les gaz sulfur\u00e9s, l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne a \u00e9t\u00e9 syst\u00e9matiquement analys\u00e9 lors des nombreuses campagnes de lev\u00e9s effectu\u00e9es en 2023 en Abitibi, \u00e0 T\u00e9miscamingue et dans les Appachies qu\u00e9b\u00e9coises. M. Richer-LaFl\u00e8che est la personne qualifi\u00e9e responsable de l\u2019information technique contenue dans ce communiqu\u00e9 et en a pris connaissance.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, l\u2019\u00e9quipe de l\u2019INRS dispose de plusieurs spectrom\u00e8tres \u00e0 gaz portables ainsi que du mat\u00e9riel d\u2019\u00e9chantillonnage et de la logistique n\u00e9cessaires pour pr\u00e9lever des \u00e9chantillons de gaz et effectuer des mesures g\u00e9ophysiques sur le terrain ou en milieu aquatique.
